Day 5 11AM Update: Cuba Stages Dramatic Comeback in Volleyball

It was a thriller at Capital Indoor Gymnasium earlier this evening in Beijing when Cuba staged a dramatic comeback after being down two sets to China to win a pivotal preliminary match that put Cuba ahead in the group standings.

China won the first two sets, 25-18, 25-14, before Cuba began taking control of the game. China's impressive digs matched up with Cuba's offensive kills to create an electric atmosphere and a fierce comeback to tie the match up at two sets each, after China had seven chances to wrap the match up in the fourth set. It only took one set point for Cuba to send it into the fifth set after winning the fourth 32-30.

The 1 hour and 51 minute match was won by Cuba, 15-13 in the final set and they now have six points in the pool while China has five points.
